Life on the Road

We managed to survive our first 20-hour bus ride. Surprisingly it wasn´t as tough as we were expecting. Movies, hot instant coffee, and reclining chairs made for a luxurious setting.

Even though the bus was quite comfortable, the landscape proved to be bleak until we arrived at Puerto Madryn. The odd cow and a desert landscape gave us some perspective on how big Argentina really is.

We´re now looking forward to visiting the penguins and elephant seals at Peninsula Valdes and Punta Tombo in the next few days.

The long, barren road from Buenos Aires to Puerto Madryn.
